Brown Exterminating was founded in 1972, by C.B. Knox in Roanoke Va. From that time, the company has grown to have divisions all over Virginia as well as offices in Tennessee. We are experts at protecting structures from pests using advanced pest control methods including all natural, organic and or low odor treatments in homes and businesses.

The Shenandoah Valley Division of the Brown Exterminating Co was originally established by Tim Knox who sadly passed away in 2010. Bryan Knox and his family moved into the area to actively manage the Shenandoah Valley Division of Brown Exterminating. The Shenandoah Valley Division services Staunton, Fishersville, Waynesboro, Harrisonburg and Lexington, Virginia.

Bryan Knox started working for Brown Exterminating, Roanoke Division, in 1983 and managed the Fumigation Division that serviced the entire east coast. Bryan took a break from the family business to achieve a degree in advertising and marketing. The Knox family look forward to being active in the community and provide top notch pest control and extermination services as Brown Exterminating has done for over 40 years.
